Nick Bilava

Nick Bilava reigns from Fremont, NE; located on the Platte River 30 miles outside of Omaha. Nick, as most hunting enthusiasts, started at an early age of 5. He began by tagging along with his father pheasant hunting and within a few years was hunting anything Nebraska had to offer. Nick has great experience and much success in everything we offer to hunt at Double P Ranch. Whether he is bowhunting whitetails, outsmarting roosters, or convincing a flock of Canada geese to give up, he will provide a great, hospitable hunt to remember. He and his team of dogs Rylee, Missy, Allie, and Boomer are ready to show you what South Dakota has to offer.

Tom Morris

Guide Tom Morris has several years experience guiding pheasant hunters in Minnesota. Tom lives in Minnesota and is an avid upland, waterfowl, and archery hunter. Tom’s British Labradors, Rio and Maya are a delight to hunt with whether you are pursuing pheasants or waterfowl.
     
 

Bob Berens

Bob Berens aka “the Goose Guy”

Double P Ranch is happy to welcome Bob Berens as a dedicated waterfowl guide. Bob grew up in central MN hunting waterfowl beginning at the age of twelve. Starting in the MN River bottoms and hunting the Dakotas when ever he had a chance. In 1990 he moved to Colorado where he hunted the Platte river from Denver to Central Nebraska. Since moving back to the Midwest in 2002 he came down with snow goose fever, chasing them from Saskatoon to Missouri. While still obsessed with hunting mallards in the fall he also likes to stack up the snows geese to extend the hunting season. Currently residing in Clark SD, Bob is the innovator in the waterfowl industry. His creations include “The Bird Hitch”. Bob’s passion and knowledge about waterfowling, as well as his sense of humor are sure to make for a memorable hunt.

     
 

John Pesek

Double P Ranch is proud to welcome John Pesek for the upcoming 2011 season. John is the owner and operator of Royalty British Kennels, one the most prestigious hunting dog kennels in the country. John will be guiding with British and American Labradors. John has an endless supply of positive, upbeat enthusiasm which is sure to make for a memorable hunt.
