Love that place
❤️❤️ see you next week
We can't wait for the harvest to start. We started hunting the sorghum strips and will transition to the uplands and corn when it cools off and the soybeans are harvested.
The natural reproduction of both pheasant and local waterfowl is unprecedented in recent history. We are hearing about this throughout South Dakota. This is the year to hunt. We are even hearing reports of soaring Prairie chicken and sharptail grouse numbers to our West. #southdakotahunting

The temperatures are starting to moderate and we finally got a good soaking rain. We are anticipating a banner year. The natural pheasant reproduction this year is off the charts. #SouthDakota #pheasanthunting #DoublePRanch #southdakotahunting #uplandbirdhunting ... See MoreSee Less

Hi Mongo. Sorry Fin, Nitro and our gang couldn’t make it this year.
Great start to the hunting season even with the 95 degree temperatures. Looking forward to next Tuesdays TNT Cast-n-Blast fundraiser for the Vets. Hopefully the walleyes, pheasants and geese cooperate for us. ... See MoreSee Less

The habitat provide winter cover during one of the most brutal winters in recent memory. #wintercover #southdakotahunting ... See MoreSee Less
We are very excited the upcoming pheasant season. Our habitat stood up to a brutally long winter that broke records for snowfall. We over-wintered well over a thousand birds on the ranch. The spring nesting and lack of predators has produced large brood sizes this summer. We look forward to seeing the more and more birds as the summer haying and small grain harvest begin. #pheasanthunting #southdakotahunting ... See MoreSee Less

We have never seen brood numbers so high. The number of ducklings per hen is astounding. We suspect it was the combination of a warm relatively dry spring and the lack of skunks that factored into the nesting success. There is sure to be an abundance of local waterfowl when the season opens.#southdakotahunting #duckhunting #DoublePRanch ... See MoreSee Less

Our oldest property. This piece of land was almost completely deviod of trees when we acquired it 25 years ago. It is currently managed as a bow-only property so many of our guests have never seen it. #whitetailhunting #bowhunting #DoublePRanch #southdakotahunting ... See MoreSee Less
Looks great!
